HOPE Clinical Research

Hope (Hematology Oncology Patient Enterprises)

UVA Hope Cancer Care is a network of doctors and nurses who deliver high-quality cancer treatment throughout the region.

The HOPE Clinical Research Coordinator facilitates conduct of clinical research for HOPE physicians. The HOPE CRC works collaboratively with the trial's principal investigators, primary Clinical Research Coordinator for each trial, IRB, University, sponsors, and human subjects to ensure smooth, accurate progress of multiple clinical trials.

HOPE CRC is responsible for subject recruitment and consent of study participants, supervision of the scheduling of study procedures and research visits, and collection of study data at the locations HOPE physicians see patients (Fishersville, Pantops, Farmville, Culpeper, ECCCC).

HOPE CRC conveys accurate and comprehensive study information to Principal Investigators, supervisory personnel, study sponsors, members of the interdisciplinary team involved in the studies, and peers.
