National Minority  Cancer    Awareness Week

Whitney Harris from NBC 29  interviewed Ivy Hinton, a SON faculty member, two time cancer survivor and President of Sisters Conquering Cancer as well as Dr. Pamela Ross, Chair of the Cancer Center Minority Council.  

We are pleased to share this great public story about raising awareness of the disparities minorities face given a cancer diagnosis.  It also demonstrates our commitment and support to the Charlottesville community in the cancer fight.
