Introduction

The School of Medicine Office for Research invites interested students, faculty, and community members to attend this year’s symposium.

Fall symposia showcase research by medical students, with the following goals:  to present and discuss work among peers; to inform medical students about the research opportunities at the University of Virginia School of Medicine; and to provide a medium for faculty, students, and members of the general community to interact informally and discuss future or current research projects.


Schedule of Events (tentative):

11:45 AM – 12:30 PM (poster boards will be set up early in the day)

Information for Student Presenters

If you are a medical student who performed research as an undergraduate, in the MSSRP, as an MSTP student, during time off from medical school, or as an elective during medical school, then consider presenting a poster at this year' s symposium.  If you wish to present a poster at the symposium, please send an abstract (title, authors, <1/2 page description) electronically to Joyce Fortune (jcf9u@virginia.edu) no later than October 8.
