of Medicine Office for Research invites interested students, faculty,
and community members to attend this important event.
The fall symposiium showcases research performed by medical
students, providing an avenue to: present and discuss work among peers;
inform medical students about the research opportunities at the
University of Virginia School of Medicine; and provide a medium for
faculty, students, and members of the general community to interact
informally and discuss current or future UVA research projects.
Morning through noon: Set up
posters. Poster boards and T-pins will be available by 9:00
11:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch
12:30 – 2:30 PM: Poster
Posters that have not been been taken
down by 2:30 PM will be removed by and stored in the Office for
Research (McKim 3026).
The program for the 2016 symposium will
be posted here after acceptance of poster abstracts.
for Student Presenters
If you are a medical student who
performed research as an undergraduate, in the MSSRP, as an MSTP
student, during time off from medical school, or as an elective during
medical school, then consider presenting a poster at this year' s
symposium. If you wish to participate, please send an abstract
(title, authors, <1/2 page description)
electronically to Joyce Fortune (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than
Monday, October 3, 2016. Poster space is limited. We will
notify you if your poster has been accepted.
