David B. Drake, MD
Dr Drake is a native of Kentucky and
attended medical school at the University of Kentucky. His General
Surgery residency was completed at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester
Minnesota and he subsequently completed his Plastic Surgery residency
at the University of Virginia in 1991. He was appointed as an Assistant
Professor at the University of Kentucky in 1992 and then joined the
faculty at the University of Virginia in Plastic Surgery in1995. He has
served as the Program Director of the Hand Fellowship since 1996.
Dr Drake also serves as the Medical Director of the DeCamp Burn center
at UVA and has an active practice in general reconstructive surgery in
addition to hand surgery.
