MS in Biological and Physical Sciences
M.S. in Biological and Physical Sciences
Description:
The M.S. degree is an interdepartmental degree available to students in
the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. programs. Usually students are
eligible to receive the degree upon completion of the advancement to
candidacy for the Ph.D.
Program requirements are described at:
M.S. in Biological
and Physical Sciences Program Guidelines
Upon completion of the requirements, students should complete the
Masters degree application form found under “forms” at:
http://artsandsciences.virginia.edu/gradschool/requirements/application.html
Since the M.S. degree is interdepartmental and not administered by any
single program, the degree form requires the signature of the Assistant
Dean for Graduate Research and Training on the line for “departmental
chair”. This signature may be acquired by bringing the GSAS
degree to the Graduate Programs Office (Jordan Hall 1102).
Inquires may be addressed to medgpo@virginia.edu
