M.S. in Biological and Physical Sciences
The M.S. degree is an interdepartmental degree available to students in the Biomedical Sciences Ph.D. programs. Usually students are eligible to receive the degree upon completion of the advancement to candidacy for the Ph.D.

Since the M.S. degree is interdepartmental and not administered by any single program, the degree form requires the signature of the Assistant Dean for Graduate Research and Training on the line for “departmental chair”.
