Neurobiology & Behavioral Development

Neuro 180The Neurobiology and Behavioral Development Predoctoral Training Program at the University of Virginia is designed for advanced graduate students working in topics related to neurobiology, behavior and/or development.

Our objective is to supplement the course work typically taken by students in our neuroscience doctoral programs with clinical experiences that help the students envision translational applications for their work and design projects that lead to clinical questions.

Our goal through this training program is to provide young neuroscientists with the skills they need to think beyond basic research and development research programs that have translational applications to clinical care.

Prospective students should apply for admission through the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Studies.
