The Affiliate and Outreach Services (AOS) Program is based on an administrative framework that allows community hospitals and other healthcare organizations to provide CME for their physicians and healthcare providers.

As an ACCME nationally accredited provider, the University of Virginia School of Medicine provides an approval and monitoring process to designate AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)^TM and Contact Hours for each Affiliate's educational activities.  A variety of activities such as Tumor Boards, ongoing lecture series (weekly, monthly and quarterly) single conferences, and enduring materials on a range of topics may be approved for credit.

The AOS Program provides regular communication with Affiliates via networking opportunities by regular communication and personal visits.  Affiliates are also kept up to date with current accreditation and policy issues through regular workshops and customized training.  Please contact us for further details of the AOS program.
