The Accreditation Steering Committee will oversee the entire LCME review process, from setting up the Self Study in 2012 through the LCME site visit in late 2014. The committee will make operational and policy decisions about preparation for LCME review.

The five subcommittees and their working groups will answer the questions for their respective sections of the LCME self-study and will write the subcommittee reports to submit to the Executive Committee.

The Self Study Task Force Executive Committee will oversee the Self Study, from setting up the subcommittees through writing the executive summary to submit to the LCME. The committee, chaired by Dr. Barnett Nathan, will consist of the co-chairs of the subcommittees and working groups, specialists from across Grounds and the community, and the members of the Steering Committee. This committee will write the final self-study report, based on reports from the subcommittees.
