Claude Moore Medical Education Building

The Claude Moore Medical Education Building (MEB) consolidates medical education programs and creates a central entrance to the School of Medicine. The five story structure connects to Medical Research Building Five, facilitating access to the School of Medicine facilities in Jordan Hall and the Health Sciences Library.

The MEB is located at 200 Jeanette Lancaster Way, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Directions can be found here.

Basement: Clinical Skills Center
- Outpatient rooms, inpatient rooms, standardized patient training room, all with A/V (video and microphones)

Ground level: Medical Simulation Center
- Clinical interaction environments: mock ER, OR, ICU, labor and delivery, 6 procedure rooms for regional simulators, all with A/V (video and microphones)

First floor: Learning Studio
- Multiple projection sources, A/V
- Education sessions automatically recorded

Second floor: Student lounge, administrative offices, terrace


Third floor: 171 person lecture hall & administrative space
