- Internal Medicine Clerkship Review. (Michael Rein) Dr. Rein
presented an informative report assessing the Internal Medicine
Clerkship. The report outlined the clerkships goals, objectives,
grading policies, and patient contact information. Analysis of new
initiatives tried recently in the course and some outcome data was
presented. Assessment data from student evaluations was provided.
An informative discussion followed. Proposals for the future were
discussed. Following completion of the reviews and further discussion
the committee will communicate with the clerkship director.
- Information on the Advanced Clinical Elective proposal, the
interim report from Microbiology, and the Physician Charter
on Professionalism as an outline for "Assessing Professional
Behavior of Medical Students" were distributed.
