- Education Team Plan - School of Medicine Decade Plan. The
Committee discussed the proposals made by the Education Team at the
Decade Plan Retreat on 1/14/03. The proposals will be refined and
prioritized. The Curriculum Committee was asked to provide input on the
Plan to Don Innes via e-mail. Timelines, resources and metrics will be
worked on by the Education Team.
Education Team Plan - Change suggested for slide on Page 4 of handout -
- Encourage and Provide access to areas outside of the classical
medical curriculum...
Interruptions in medical career pros and cons was discussed. Facilitate
advisors on appropriate use of year off for specialized electives, etc.
- create guidelines for achieving added value from elective
experience.
