Research Environment &
Potential Research Experiences

Virtually all CAM-related clinical research, as well as CAM-related basic science projects that investigate mechanisms of action of CAM modalities, is available to the trainees. All faculty at the University of Virginia are strongly encouraged to provide high-quality research experiences to individuals at varying points in their development.

Projects being conducted through our CSCAT are readily available for trainees and provide a rich environment with collaborative linkages among conventional scientists, practitioners, and CAM researchers. The environment is one that supports scientific rigor.
