Pfizer Initiative in International Health-CGH Research Fellowship in Infectious Disease
Overview
The Pfizer-CGH fellowship encourages emerging investigators to
address infectious diseases in developing areas around the world.
Successful research planning incorporates the expertise of faculty, the
research and health foci of relevant institutions as well as the career
interests of the investigator. You are encouraged to review the
existing research
collaborations and contact PIIH and CGH affiliated faculty
to discuss your proposal.
Fellowship Purpose and Requirements
- Current position or association with the University of Virginia and proposed project at a collaborating institution.
- International host institution support.
- Hypothesis-driven research focused on infectious disease.
- Relevance to career goals in global health.

Commitment to advancing relevant programs and collaborative relationships between UVa and international institutions.
