Rebecca Dillingham M.D., M.P.H is an Associate Director of the Center for Global Health and an Assistant Professor of Research and Medicine in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Her research interests include HIV medicine in resource-limited settings, including Haiti, and global health education. Email at RD8V

Dr. Fern Hauck

 

Fern Hauck, M.D., M.S. is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences.  She has worked in Southeast Asia, Africa and the Caribbean, including serving as a refugee camp doctor for a year in Thailand.  She founded the UVA International Family Medicine Clinic, providing primary health care for refugees and other immigrants in central Virginia.  Email at FR8HE

Dr. Charles Brooks

 

Charles Brooks M.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology. His clinical interests include critical care nephrology, renal disease in pregnancy, the diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease, and management of renal replacement therapies.  Email at CHB8D

Dr. Preston Reynolds

 

Dr. P. Preston Reynolds M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of General Medicine, Geriatrics and Palliative Care. She has held numerous national leadership positions including serving as a member of the board of directors of Physicians for Human Rights.  Her area of research has focused on the history of race discrimination in healthcare and medical education.  Email at PPR8Q

Dr. David Burt

 

Dr. David Burt M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. His research interest include acute coronary syndromes and evaluation of chest pain.  He is the founder and director of the Service/Language/Culture program in Guatemala. Email at DRB5P

Dr. Chris Moore

 

Dr. Chris Moore M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Research and Medicine in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health. He has written recently about the outcomes of patients with severe sepsis in Uganda. Email at CCM5
