Describe the global health issue that you will address with your project. Why is it important? Who does it affect? How does it impact the community(ies) affected by it? What is already being done to address it, if anything?

Please briefly state the aspect of the global health problem that you wish to address including where you will work. Why have you chosen this aspect and this site?
Include discussion of how your proposal can be respectful of and of service to the focus community
Hypothesis/Research Question
Please state in one or two sentences what your specific research question is.
Methodology
1) Describe the site including mentors and available resources/services.
2) Describe the population that you will be working with.
3) Describe the methodology that you will use to collect data.
4) Describe your planned analysis of the data.
5) Briefly discuss alternative strategies to address your hypothesis in the event that your initial plans are untenable.

Estimated Budget including vaccines, health insurance, evacuation insurance, requisite visas, international airfare, meals, and lodging, project supplies and the actual total cost of your project. Although CGH awards do not exceed 3K, the full project budget for all expenses is requested.
