Thoracic & CardioVascular (TCV) Surgery Research Labs
Welcome to the TCV Surgery Research Laboratories. We are a diverse team dedicated to the advancement of cardiothoracic surgery research and the research training of Residents, PostDocs, and Students. Our areas of research include lung transplant-related injury and rejection, aortic aneurysm formation, compensatory lung growth, and cardiopulmonary bypass. We utilize a large variety of techniques in the lab including cell & molecular biology, small and large animal surgery, cell culture, small animal imaging, and microscopic techniques.
