Welcome to the Lung Transplant Research Laboratories in the Division of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery. We are a diverse team dedicated to the advancement of lung transplant research and the research training of Residents, PostDocs, and Students.

Our research labs are headed by three Principle Investigators. We utilize both in vivo and in vitro models to study clinically relevant issues in lung transplantation with a focus on ischemia-reperfusion injury, primary graft dysfunction, bronchiolitis obliterans, lung preservation and ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP). For more  information on our research areas click on the "Research Projects" link in the left menu bar.
