The Department of Radiation Oncology is pleased to announce the newly renovated Moser Radiation Therapy Center reopened June 16, 2008.  Moser's renovation included the installation of a state-of-the-art Varian Trilogy linear accelerator.  The Trilogy is capable of 2D (2 Dimensional) and 3D KV (3 Dimensional Kilo voltage) image guidance, IGRT (Image guided radiation therapy), 3D CRT (3 Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy), IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy), and SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery).  Read more about our new Varian Trilogy® radiation therapy system.

In addition, patients treated at Moser have the benefit of the RPM (Real-Time Position Management) system used for timed beam delivery with respiratory motion when clinically appropriate.  This new weapon in our arsenal will further assist us in our goal to provide greater precision in treating cancer tissue with fewer side effects.  Furthermore, offering these additional treatment options at Moser will allow a wider range of patients to be treated in a true outpatient environment complete with a well appointed facility and convenient parking.

We look forward to caring for our patient population in a customer-friendly and more comfortable environment. In the future our goal is to open the Center in the evenings for community educational events as a way to reach out to the area we serve.
