UVA Radiation Oncology Clinical Physics Residency Program
|
The history of accredited clinical physics residency programs has demonstrated that these programs serve as a terrific asset to the clinical physics section, the Radiation Oncology Department, and the institution as a whole. These programs can serve multi-faceted goals: 1. Provide opportunity for clinical physics faculty to implement new clinical programs and innovations. 2. Increase the academic stature and credentials of our section, department, and cancer center. 3. Provide a greatly needed source for new highly trained medical physicists, and potential future faculty for our department. |
