Objectives

The radiology residency training program aims to develop within the resident the skills and interpretive ability necessary to perform as a competent clinical diagnostic radiologist and to encourage critical thinking and creativity as a basis for sound clinical practice training.

Expectations

At the completion of training, the resident will be able to perform and interpret the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures and be well acquainted with procedures that are investigational in nature. In addition, the resident will have the ability to serve as a consultant to provide guidance in the appropriate selection of diagnostic exams. Upon program completion, residents will be well-versed in performing their duties with collegiality and a keen sensitivity for the physical and psychological well being of the patients, residents, and faculty.
