Radiologic Technology is an allied health profession that has grown dramatically in recent years with the increased use of advanced technology in the health care setting. Radiographers are at the cutting edge of scientific progress, working with the latest advances in medical care. Locally, an Associate of Applied Science Degree program is currently offered through Piedmont Virginia Community College. The UVA Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging serves as one of the clinical rotation sites for the program.
