Welcome to the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging

The University of Virginia Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging is committed to the educational experience of Medical Students. Radiology spans across all medical fields of study, adding great depth to any specialty area. Radiology and Medical Imaging offers an innovative program designed to familiarize medical students with the interpretation of medical images as they observe, while rotating through our Diagnostic Radiology areas. We want to broaden our student’s knowledge and help mold exceptional physicians of the future.
