Division of Pediatric Imaging
The Division of Pediatric Imaging is an integral part of the Children's Medical Center. Our dedicated, highly trained, and specialized Pediatric physician radiologists provide imaging services to children using comprehensive state-of-the art fluoroscopy, computed tomography, ultrasound, duplex and color Doppler, and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as plain film studies. We also coordinate pediatric studies in vascular interventional radiology, neuroradiology, and nuclear medicine. We work closely with our colleagues in pediatric medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties to deliver the best possible imaging services and care to our young patients in a family friendly setting. We also tailor imaging examinations to answer specific clinical questions, optimize imaging utilization and provide expert interpretation, and ensure patient safety by using lowest possible radiation dose techniques.
Consultative services are also provided for difficult cases regarding the most effective imaging strategy needed. Our Division is proud to offer the best service to our patients and referring physicians. We ensure that each patient referred to us has the most positive experience. We also ensure that our referring physicians receive high-quality radiology reports as quickly as possible, and we are readily available to discuss imaging results.
