About Dr. Wintermark

Dr. Wintermark brings a broad range of neuroradiology experience to UVA from the University of California, San Francisco, where he served as a faculty member for the past five years. He is an expert in CT technology and advanced imaging techniques such as perfusion imaging, spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging, and functional imaging. He has vast clinical and research expertise in imaging patients with cerebrovascular conditions such as stroke and aneurysms. He will also be caring for adult and pediatric patients with brain, head, and neck tumors, back pain, traumatic brain injury or neurodegenerative conditions.
