General Clinical Services

General Clinical Services

The goal of the General Clinical Services section is to provide state of the art psychiatric care that is integrated with the teaching and scholarly activities of the University.  We work collaboratively with Geriatric Psychiatric Services, Forensic Psychiatry, the Neurocognitive Assessment Laboratory, Medical Psychology and the Behavioral Medicine Center.  The Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic provides diagnostic evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy (Dynamic, Supportive and Cognitive) to adults 18 and older. Northridge is also home to The Clinical Research Center that conducts clinical trials in mood and anxiety disorders.  The Northridge staff is composed of faculty, advanced residents and fellows, psychologists, and nurses.  Specialty clinics in Women’s Mental Health, Geriatrics and psychotherapy complement general psychiatric services.
