Western State Hospital A strong academic-public training partnership with experiences across a wide range of public psychiatry, from forensics to research. Residents and students find this experience rewarding and uniformly give high marks to the teaching program.
Commonwealth Center for Child and Adolescents (CCCA) A Child and Adolescent psychiatric hospital (2 adolescent units and two children's units) that serves as a training site for PGII residents and Child Psychiatry Fellows.
UVa Student Health- Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Residents have the option of training here in the fourth year on a longitudinal basis, working with the college student population over the course of their senior year, in psychotherapy, combined medication management and psychotherapy and group psychotherapy across a variety of populations.
