Lee named to NIH Study Section

Dr. Jae K. Lee, Associate Professor and Director of the Division of Biostatistics & Epidemiology, has been invited to serve as a member of the Cancer Biomarkers Study Section, Center for Scientific Review (CSR) for the term beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2014.

"Members are selected on the basis of their demonstrated competence and achievement in their scientific discipline and as evidenced by the quality of research accomplishments, publications in scientific journals, and other scientific activities, achievements and honors," wrote Toni Scarpa, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the CSR, in the letter announcing Dr. Lee's appointment. "Service on a study section also requires mature judgment and objectivity as well as the ability to work effectively in a group, qualities we believe Dr. Lee will bring to this important task."

Congratulations, Jae!
