Engelhard and Garson publish study
on taxing fattening foods
Carolyn Engelhard and Tim Garson of the Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia joined Urban Institute researcher Stan Dorn in a study on taxing fattening foods to reduce obesity and pay for health care reform. The results of the study were unveiled to the national press last Tuesday in Washington, DC. Read more about the study here.
