Detmer Receives AMIA's 2010 Collen Award
Don E. Detmer, MD, Professor of Medical Education and Public Health Sciences, received the 2010 Morris F. Collen Award from the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) in recognition of his longstanding efforts to advance the field of biomedical and health informatics and in so doing, improve health care in the United States and around the world.
The prestigious award was presented at the opening session of AMIA’s 34th Annual Symposium on Biomedical and Health Informatics on November 15, in Washington, D.C.
