Conaway and team gain perfect score on CONC application

Mark Conaway as Principal Investigator, along with a multi-disciplinary team of John O'Quigley, Ph.D., Nolan Wages, Ph.D., (a recent graduate in Statistics with an emphasis in Biostatistics), and Sean Graves, Ph.D. and Paula Fracasso, M.D., Ph.D., from the Department of Medicine and the Cancer Center, recently received a perfect score for their grant application 'Designs for Phase I Trials of Combinations of Agents’ that was reviewed by the National Institutes of Health’s Clinical Oncology Study Section (CONC).

“A ‘perfect’ example of the talented leadership and extraordinary collaboration” said PHS Chair William A. Knaus, M.D., in his announcement of the score, “that makes DPHS's faculty and staff a unique and invaluable resource for UVA.”
