From I-64

• Take I-64 to Charlottesville, Exit 118B (UVa Information Center exit).
• Take Rte. 29 north to Ivy Road/Rte. 250 Business East.
• Turn RIGHT off the exit ramp.
• Pass the UVa Information Center.
• Go straight through next 5 lights: 
  At 3rd light (Emmet St.), Ivy Road becomes University Avenue. You will pass the Rotunda on your right after going through 4th light.
• Turn RIGHT at 6th light (strange intersection between University
  Avenue-which now curves left to become Main Street-and Jefferson Park  Avenue).
• Go south on Jefferson Park Avenue to first light (Lee St.).
• Turn LEFT at Lee St. and park in 11th Street Parking Garage (you will see the garage on your left). Bring your parking ticket with you; the department will validate it  (validation not available for regular/repeat visits or for class attendance).
• Exit the parking garage and walk back to the intersection of Lee St. and
  Jefferson Park Avenue.
• Cross Jefferson Park Avenue.
• Walk to large brick building at the end of the driveway (West Complex, where DPHS is located).
• Enter building through main glass doors.
• Pass to the right of the information desk to find the Main Elevators.
• Take Main Elevators to 3rd floor; follow signs to Public Health Sciences.   
• Enter suite through main door. Call 4-8646 using the phone on the table to your right.

From Washington, DC

• From Washington, take I-66 WEST to Exit 43A (US 29 South). US 29
  crosses I-66 at several points; 43A is the most efficient exit.
• Take US 29 South into Charlottesville (70+ miles).
• Continue south under the overpass for the US 250 bypass (the light right before the overpass is Angus Road; there will be a Holiday Inn on your left and a Best Western on your right).
• After you go under the overpass, go straight through the next four lights
   (Barracks Rd., Wise St., Arlington Blvd., Massie Rd.).
• Turn LEFT at the fifth light (University Avenue).
• Go straight through the next two lights (Rugby Rd., 14th St.).
• Turn RIGHT at the third light (Jefferson Park Avenue).
• Turn LEFT at the next intersection (Lee St.).
• Park in 11th Street Parking Garage on your left. Park here and we will validate your ticket.  Bring your ticket with you.

•  Walk out of the parking garage back onto Lee St. Turn RIGHT.
•  Cross Jefferson Park Avenue. You will be looking at a large brick building at the end of a driveway. This is the West Complex (where you're headed).
• Enter the West Complex through the main entrance and pass RIGHT of  the information desk to get to the main elevators.
• Take main elevators to the 3rd floor and follow the signs to Public Health Sciences (room 3181).
• Enter suite through main door. Call 4-8646 using the phone on the end table on your right.

From the south on Rte. 29

• Take Rte. 29 north to Charlottesville.
• Exit on Fontaine Ave. (this is also the exit for the Fontaine Research Park
  and the football stadium).
• Turn RIGHT off the exit ramp, and get in the left lane as soon as possible (the right lane vanishes after you pass the Fontaine Research Park).
• Go straight through the light at Fontaine Research Park and the light after
  that.
• As you approach the 3rd light, the road will fork into a V.   Bear RIGHT at the V, which will quickly merge onto Jefferson Park Ave.
• Continue straight through the next light and under the pedestrian overpass at the Health Sciences Library.
• Turn RIGHT at the next light (Lee St.).
•  Park in 11th Street Parking Garage on the left. Bring your parking ticket with you; we will validate it (validation not available for regular/repeat visits or for class attendance).
•  Exit the parking garage and walk back to the intersection of Lee St. and
   Jefferson Park Avenue.
•  Cross Jefferson Park Avenue.
•  Walk to large brick building at the end of the driveway (the West Complex, where DPHS is located).
•  Enter building through main glass doors.
•  Pass to the right of the information desk to find the Main Elevators.
