KCRC

This could include any of the clinics held at the KCRC on Mondays and Wednesdays. Students assigned to this clinic should attend the 8 am developmental lectures series at KCRC every Monday.   On Wednesday a case from the inpatient service is presented at morning report from Sept-May/June.  However, once Grand Rounds are discontinued for the summer, there is also a lecture on Wednesday at 8:00 am.  These lectures are in the Boardroom on the second floor of the KCRC. There is parking for students at the KCRC.

General Pediatrics at Orange

Report to clinic in Orange on Tuesdays.  Clinic begins at 9 AM (directions will be given).  Dr. Schinstock is in charge.  You are encouraged to bring your lunch.  Call (540) 661-3025 if you have any questions.

Take 250 E to Shadwell. At the stone store, take left fork onto 22 E towards Keswick and Cismont. In Cismont take left fork onto 231 N. Gordonsville. In Gordonsville go 180 degrees around the traffic circle. You will then be on 15 N. Orange is approximately 10 minutes from that point. As you come into town, you will go through one traffic light at the Exxon station. At the next traffic light, take the right fork, McDonald’s is on the right and Hardees is on the left. Soon after passing Subway on the right, go to the next traffic light, keep straight, go about half a mile. You will see the big brick building on the left, which is the Orange Medical Center.

FROM  29 NORTH

Take 29 N to Ruckersville. Turn right onto 33 E and go to Barboursville. In Barboursville turn left onto 20 N. Follow 20 N. through Montpelier Station. At the first traffic light, turn left onto 15 N pass McDonald’s on your right, Hardees on your left, and as soon as you pass Subway on the right, to the next traffic light, keep straight, go about half a mile. See the big brick building on the left, which is the Orange Medical Center.

General Pediatrics Clinic at Primary Care Center

Report to Primary Care General Peds Clinic on the 4th floor of Primary Care on Thursday at 8:00 am. If Pediatric Grand Rounds is held on Thursday, report to the clinic immediately after Grand Rounds Go to the Doc’s room (back of hallway, room 4114).

CLIPP Cases

You have time scheduled into our two-week outpatient clinics rotation to work on your CLIPP cases. You will have Fridays to work on your cases.
