Mission Statement

"Our mission is to provide state of the art care to women and their families, in an efficient, friendly, and comfortable environment. We practice the

specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology, working together with our patients to achieve one's optimal health."

Our patients are seen in our office at The Northridge Office Building conveniently located between Ivy and Charlottesville on 250W. Our office hours are by appointment Monday-Friday 8:20am - 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm - 4:20 pm.  Hospital care, Surgical and Obstetrical services are all provided at our state of the art Women's Center, located in the University of Virginia Medical Center.  Outpatient surgery is provided at the UVA Outpatient Surgical Center.

These services are complimented by a renowned Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as The Prenatal Diagnostic and Treatment Center.  Subspecialty Care and Consultation is readily available 24 hours a day, as is Anesthesia.  Emergency Care is provided through the University of Virginia Medical Center in a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center, the most sophisticated available.

The Staff, the Nurses, and the Physicians all work to make ones stay as comfortable as possible while providing excellent care. Indeed they are the reason that University of Virginia Health System remains one of the best in the United States. Our physicians are well trained in all areas of General Obstetrics and Gynecology including Obstetrics, Infertility, Contraception, Adolescent Gynecology, Menopausal Issues, and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. There is access to the most up-to-date technology and equipment available anywhere.

Labor & Delivery

Labor & Delivery offers spacious, comfortable private birthing rooms where women labor, deliver and recover post delivery. You can choose a support person to stay during the entire hospitalization if you wish; and a primary nurse will coordinate care for you and your baby.

Anesthesia services are available 24 hours a day. In addition, home care following delivery is available to all women who deliver at the Women's Place.
