The Neuromuscular Disease Program is devoted to the treatment and study of peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, myopathies, and motor neuron diseases. The program includes:
Patients with peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, myopathies, and motor neuron diseases are seen in the EMG Laboratory. Pediatric cases are treated and rehabilitated in conjunction with the special services of the Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center, including the Motion Analysis Lab. Patients and families of patients with a neuromuscular disease may be under a great deal of stress or need some additional assistance.
