"Having done my medical school training at UVA, when it came time to apply for residency, I thought that I might want to go and see something different. However, with each program that I interviewed at, I began to realize the unique opportunity that UVA afforded me. Not only are the faculty dedicated to teaching, the patient population vastly varied, and the fellow residents top notch, but the family friendly environment is truly unique. It is a rare opportunity in the country to receive such highly specialized training in such a family friendly environment.
