Prescription Refill Instructions

In an effort to avoid having to refill prescriptions in between clinic visits, please make sure you discuss your medication refills with your physician at your visit.

In the event that you need to refill your prescription between visits, please call the rheumatology nurse at 434-243-0223 and leave the following information:

1. Your full name (please spell difficult names)
2. Medical Record Number (MRN# or UVA#) OR Social Security Number (SSN#)
3. Your physician's full name
4. Medication information (including the dosage and how often you take it)
5. Pharmacy information (including phone number and/or fax number)

Please allow up to 2 business days (Monday through Friday) from the time you call for us to refill your prescription.
