Rasheed A. Balogun, M.D., has been selected to join the nine member national expert committee of the American Society for Apheresis, the "JCA Special Issue Committee". This committee develops and publishes the Clinical Applications of Therapeutic Apheresis: An Evidence Based Approach. The "fact sheets" (also widely called "ASFA Guidelines") are a highly regarded international reference tool for categories of indications for therapeutic apheresis procedures.
