Amandeep Bajwa was recently awarded, as principal investigator, an American Heart Association Scientist Development Grant. This coveted career development grant is awarded to outstanding young faculty who have promise in developing into independent investigators. Dr. Bajwa’s grant is entitled "Sphingosine 1 Phosphate Receptor 3 as a novel target in kidney transplantation". On July 1, 2011, she was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine.
