Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine
The Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology at the University
of Virginia, seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible Clinical
Investigator faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate
Professor. The incumbent provides care to patients with kidney disease
as well as having a significant portion of their effort performing
research. Teaching opportunities and in-patient attending are also an
integral part of the patient care service. Rank and salary is
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have an MD degree, be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology by the time of hire. Extramural funding for research is strongly preferred and commensurate with that portion of research effort.
