Graduate research programs leading to the M.S. or Ph.D. degree are available for students choosing to study with CIIR faculty in conjunction with other Biomedical Sciences departments in the UVA School of Medicine. The graduate training program includes select coursework and laboratory research training experience in immunology, autoimmunity, inflammatory diseases or regenerative medicine.

Application to graduate programs in the UVA School of Medicine should be made through the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Consortium. CIIR faculty members include NIH funded academic and clinical investigators who are aligned with MII and/or MSTP programs in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Consortium.
