Organized by Anita Jacobsen and Diane Rosin, Ph.D., a group of faculty, staff and students from the Division of Nephrology/Center for Immunity, Inflammation & Regenerative Medicine put in a hard day's work on May 25, 2012, at the Charlottesville Habitat for Humanity site of the "House that DOM Built". Joined by other volunteers from the Department of Medicine Administration and some of the Habitat partner families, the group finished priming and painting the 1st and 2nd floors of one house and prepared an adjacent house for painting on a subsequent day. Volunteers reported: "By the end of the day there was almost as much paint on us as on the walls! We had a lot of fun and felt a sense of accomplishment."
