There are many ways to support the Health System. Some commitments serve immediate needs. Others are deferred and may be useful for your financial and estate planning. You may also leave all or a portion of your gift unrestricted to provide the greatest flexibility to meet pressing needs as they arise. Or, you may designate your gift to a particular school or program or to as many areas as you choose. All gifts are tax-deductible.

Volunteering

Volunteering at the UVA Medical Center makes a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Our team of volunteers contributes an invaluable part of the care that we provide. A variety of activities are available to volunteers: direct contact with patients, serving behind the scenes, assisting families and visitors, and providing staff support.
