After participating in this experience, learners will be able to:

1. define “Interprofessional Education”.
2. define “Interprofessional Practice”.
3. explain to peers the contributions of nurses in acute care settings.
4. recognize the use of the SBAR tool when it is employed.
5. practice using the SBAR tool in clinical settings.
6. explain to peers at least four specific behaviors required for successful demonstration of Interprofessional Core Competencies.
