The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism
The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the
University of Virginia is consistently rated as one of the finest in
the country (U.S. News & World Report). The Division provides
state-of-the-art medical care for patients with a variety of hormonal
and metabolic disorders, and the faculty is actively engaged in both
clinical and basic endocrine research.
A core value of the Division is medical education. Members of the Division are fully committed to our fellowship training program, which is designed to prepare trainees for an independent career in clinical care, academic research, and medical education.
The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism is primarily located in the Aurbach Medical Research Building in the Fontaine Research Park, and the outpatient Endocrinology Clinics are located in the neighboring Fontaine Medical Office Building 1.
