Thank you for your interest in the Allergy and Immunology training program at the University of Virginia. We are currently recruiting 2 positions for 2013.  We participate in ERAS and NRMP.

How to Apply

Application is a two-step process and is conducted through ERAS. In order to apply you must be sure to complete the second step.

1. Complete ERAS application, which will be available by July 1, 2012. Documents will be accepted from ERAS only.
   
   
2. We require 3 letters of recommendation and a personal statement submitted through ERAS.
   
   
3. Submit your ERAS application to the specific institution of your choice (i.e., University of Virginia). UVA begins reviewing applications as of July 15 and interviews will be conducted from August through October.

All applicants should be board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.  We are board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and we follow the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education 6 competencies (Patient Care, Medical Knowledge, Practice-based Learning and Improvement, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Professionalism, Systems-based Practice) in all areas of our teaching.
