* The crew can achieve maximum efficiency on the job site when volunteers arrive at the same time in the morning to break into groups and receive instruction regarding the task at hand.  For the volunteer, it’s also best because you’ll be there for project orientation and instruction, plus will have the chance to stay long enough to put your skills to use and feel productive after you learn them.

If you absolutely can’t come for the entire shift, please arrive or leave during the scheduled lunch break (12-12:30) so that we can be sure to greet you and get you plugged in if you’re just arriving, or so that we can take stock of who is left and reassign groups if need be.
