Peter MacArthur, M.D.
I grew up in Bethesda, MD, went to undergrad at Tufts University, and attended the University of Maryland for medical school.
I chose UVA for residency because of the down-to-earth residents, focus on evidence-based medicine, and Sports Medicine Track. I'm a total sports junkie, and in my free time you'll usually find me playing basketball, golf, or ultimate frisbee.
My favorite things to do in Charlottesville include hanging out with my co-residents, exploring the local vineyards, taking in summer concerts on the downtown mall, and exploring the numerous hiking trails in the Shenandoah.
If you have any questions about the program or the city of Charlottesville, please feel free to shoot me an email.
