I am very happy to have ended up in beautiful Virginia after couples matching last year with my boyfriend in EM.  We knew we wanted to be in a smaller city or town and near the mountains so that we could enjoy the outdoors whenever possible and we have been very happy in Charlottesville!

There is plenty of hiking, mountain biking, parks to walk in, vineyards to visit and fun things to do around town including good food, breweries and lots of music!  We both come from MA and I grew up around Boston, went to Bates for undergrad and UMASS for med school.

The program here seems like a great fit for both of us so far and I have loved working with all the family residents and attendings! I feel very lucky to have ended up at UVA and look forward to the years to come.
