Practicing family medicine is an amazing and rewarding part of my life. I get to take care of the patient as a whole. As a family physician, I am a part of every aspect of my patients' lives. I have the opportunity to deliver a newborn baby and provide medical care well into their adult years. Also, I have the opportunity of taking care of multiple generations within a family. I have the honor to be part of the Primary Care Center and take care of the patients that receive medical care there.

I am blessed to have my own family as well; my husband, daughter, and hopefully more children on the way.

I was born and raised in New Jersey. I completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee Erlanger Medical Center located in Chattanooga Tennessee. While living in Chattanooga I was introduced to charming Southern culture. With an eagerness to enhance my obstetrical skills, I went slightly further North to Knoxville Tennessee. I completed a fellowship in advanced obstetrics at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. My family and I were happy to move to the beautiful city of Charlottesville, Virginia. I plan to build my practice, teach medical students and residents, and be part of a new family with the University of Virginia Family Medicine department. My family and I enjoy all four seasons, hiking, traveling, music festivals, and outdoor activities. Charlottesville offers all this and is a great place to raise a family. My future endeavors are to take yearly mission trips to underserved countries and to volunteer at the Pregnancy Center in Charlottesville.
