Although I am originally from California, I have managed to traverse the country with various endeavors, ending up in Charlottesville in 1996. Prior to arriving at UVA, I graduated from the University of the Pacific with my PharmD.

I completed residencies in Salt Lake City and Memphis, the second of which was a specialty residency in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Neonatology. I spent more than two years at Cook County Hospital before deciding that Chicago was just too cold in the winter. I transitioned to the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Obstetrics and Family Medicine in 2010.

This move has allowed me to care for more patients and be directly involved in their outpatient care, a very exciting prospect. Beyond work, I enjoy scuba diving, traveling, and playing with my cat.
