The concept of “intention” is defined by "Wikipedia" as follows:
So many of our every day work activities lack a sense of intention – how many of us have spent endless hours in meetings with a vague or little sense of purpose and no resulting outcomes? The Practicum in Intentional Design provides a context to briefly explore a series of collaborative activities to facilitate change. To that end, we will discuss specific strategies one can use to address: data gathering, communication, team/group effectiveness, learning and leverage, problem solving, and change management. By the end of the sessions, participants will have an arsenal of approaches they can utilize in a variety of situations, whether they are trying to improve a clinical practice, affect change in an academic department, or utilize these skills as a leader.
